The girls got haircuts and were feeling like supermodels so we had to take some pics. I must say I am feeling old 'cuz my girls are looking so dang old!!! They are looking pretty!!! Which I've always thought before, but actually grown-up pretty!!! When did this happen??? Aren't they supposed to be babies forever?

At the West Fargo Parade other pics

The girls had a blast at the West Fest Days parade, however, the Shriners were a little bit loud. You can tell Courtney is trying to "politely" talk to her big sis. :)

The other pics are just misc. My girls love to have their pic taken. I don't know where they got that from---silly girls, must take after their dad. LOL!!! I also just recently dyed my hair pretty dark and I thought you might like to see it. (Notice the grays are nice and covered!)

O.k., so here I am again with no pictures. SORRY!!! It's not that I haven't taken any. I mean come on this is me after all!!! I am the shutter queen!!! I just don't have the time right now to download anything. We seriously need more than one computer at our house. How in the world did we get along in highschool with NO computer until my senior year in highschool? My kids are more addicted to this thing than I am! We have to set a timer when they get on and make sure it doesn't start until they are on the actual site or "it's not fair 'cuz the 'puter' was too slow." I'd like to think my kids are of the extrememly high IQ, but lets face it. All kids these days are on the computer and will probably be going in for carpal tunnel surgery by the time they are 16 or 17. At least that way they can still have it done while they are under our insurance plans. :) I seriously will try to have current pics up the next time I log on. Hey all of you!!! Sorry it has taken me so long to write on my blog but this girl has been busy. I'm back at school and so are the kids. I love to write on my blog, so I'll try and get back to business here and keep you all up to date with pics and stories. Court is in the 1st grade and Brianna is in the 5th. This is the only time they will be at the same school, unless they wind up at the same college together. (Who wants to think that far ahead, but it is right around the corner!)

Courtney's B-day party will be in a few weeks so I will post pics of that, maybe some sooner as the girls have changed tremendously since I last posted pics. Keep checking this sight as I will try and update soon! Chao for know!!!

I made it 1 year!!!

I have officially made it 1 year without smoking a ciggy butt!!! I feel healthier and better for doing this. I have since ran in a 5K with the help of my sis, Jo. Thank you Jo!!! I would like to better myself somehow every year. This year was "no smoking." Hopefully next year I will find the will and dedication to something else to improve my life for me and those around me. :-)

Recovering

Courtney is still not talking and gives us pretty much the same look all day long. Brianna got a new "toy" and we all had fun putting our faces in it. First is me, then Brianna, then Courtney. It looks a little creepy, but it put a little smile on Court's face. :-)

Our Day at the E.R.

Well, today started off o.k. Courtney was so-so. Then things turned from bad to worse. She just laid on the couch for most of the day and her eyes started to look sunken in and she couldn't move her neck. Of course she wouldn't drink ANYTHING! By the time Danny got home at 3:00 I knew it was time to head out. We went straight to the E.R. The doctor ordered for some blood to be taken and for her to immediately be hooked up to an IV. He had a hard time deciding if she should be admitted to the hospital or not, but since she wasn't vomitting he decided to just "fill er' up" and send her home. He said this should last her about 24 hours, so if she doesn't start to drink pretty soon we'll be going back again! Please, Please say some prayers for Courtney to accept fluids! She needs to start taking her medicine also!!!

Courtney's Surgery

Well, today was Courtney's surgery and the surgery went great, but the recovery isn't going so well. We have yet to see her take a drink of anything. She won't even swallow her own saliva! Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day or we may end up in the hospital again. Poor little girl is in sooo much pain it breaks my heart. If there is anyone out there that has had a child go through this please reply to me with suggestions. I truly need some advice. My Courtney needs your help!!!

The Night Before

Tomorrow Courtney goes in for her surgery to have her adnoids removed again and to have her tonsils removed. I am praying that it goes much better this time around. Last time the poor kid refused to eat and drink afterwards and ended right back in the hopital because she lost too much weight and became severly dehydrated. If there is anyone actually reading this blog could you please say a prayer for my little girl. She could really use them. She is very precious to me and this surgery is a huge concern right now in our family. Thank-you!

Brianna and Courtney in one of the few little kid rides they rode in during the day. As you can tell, Brianna, was very cautious all day long, whereas Courtney was a little daredevil!!!

Going to the fair!

Today we went to the Red River Valley Fair. It was a blast! Courtney is such a little daredevil! She was riding the adult rides with Brianna and holding her hands up on almost every single ride. Brianna on the other hand, was grabbing on tightly and closing her eyes or looking at the ground. I think she wishes that she could have stayed at the little kid rides. Oh well, that's what happens when you grow up! I think the bumper cars were the best ride of the day. All in all in was a good day and no one threw up chunks! :-)
